Start with how you use the garden

Less mowing.
A considered finish.

Artificial grass can suit a defined area where a consistent surface and lower routine lawn maintenance are priorities. It still needs a base and finish suited to the ground below it.

We look at water movement, changes in level, surrounding paths and beds, door thresholds, retained trees and the route for materials. That helps establish whether it is a sensible choice for the space.

If you prefer a living lawn, compare our turfing and turf-laying service.

A complete installation scope

What is underneath
matters.

Preparation is agreed for the existing garden rather than hidden behind a one-size-fits-all promise.

  1. 01

    Understand the space

We look at how you want to use the area, what is there now, drainage, levels, access and the edges the new surface will meet.

  2. 02

    Agree the preparation

The quote sets out any removal, excavation, base preparation, levelling, edging and material handling included in the job.

  3. 03

    Install and finish

The surface is laid to the agreed area, with joins, edges and junctions finished around the shape of the garden.

Realistic expectations

Low maintenance
does not mean no care.

Leaves, loose debris and surface marks still need attention. Pet use and heavily trafficked areas also affect cleaning and brushing. We would rather explain the upkeep clearly before you choose the surface.

  • Existing ground and vegetation assessed
  • Levels, falls and drainage considered
  • Edges and junctions agreed
  • Access and material handling included in the plan

Useful answers

Before you get in touch.

Do you install artificial grass in existing gardens?

Yes. Start by showing us the area and explaining how you want to use it. We assess the current surface, levels, drainage, edges and access before recommending a practical installation scope.

What preparation is needed under artificial grass?

It depends on the existing ground and the intended use. Removal, excavation, a suitable prepared base, levels and edge restraint may all form part of the job. We inspect the site before confirming what is appropriate and included.

Does artificial grass need drainage?

Rainwater still needs somewhere suitable to go. We look at the existing ground, falls and nearby hard surfaces or buildings when planning the preparation. The quote will describe the approach for the particular area.

Can you remove the existing lawn or overgrowth first?

Removal and preparation can be included when agreed. If the area is heavily overgrown, our garden-clearance work may be the first part of the same project. Tell us what is on the ground now so the scope is clear.

Is artificial grass maintenance-free?

It removes mowing, but it is not maintenance-free. Leaves and debris still need clearing, the surface may need brushing, and spills or pet use need appropriate cleaning. We can talk through realistic upkeep before you decide.

What do you need for a quote?
