Can you clear a garden that is completely overgrown?
That is a useful reason to get in touch. Send a few wide photos, your postcode and a view of the access. We look at the density of the growth, what you want to keep and how the cut material can be carried out, then agree the extent of the clearance.
Do you take household rubbish or building waste?
This service is for vegetation and green waste. It does not normally include household rubbish, furniture, white goods, rubble, soil, chemicals, asbestos, building waste, sheds or other structures. Tell us about anything hidden in the growth so we can be clear about what can and cannot be taken away.
Can you leave the plants and trees I want to keep?
Yes, the starting point is to agree what stays and what goes. Point out valued plants, trees, planted bulbs or borders before cutting starts. Photos help, but a walk around together is useful where the garden is densely overgrown.
Will the garden be ready for turf or planting afterwards?
Clearance gets the vegetation under control and exposes the space. It does not automatically include stump grinding, removal of all roots, digging over, levelling, new soil or laying turf. Explain your next step so the quote makes clear what will be left and what further preparation may be needed.
Does clearance stop brambles and weeds growing back?
A one-off clearance is a reset, not a promise that growth will never return. Cutting visible vegetation may leave roots or other growth below ground. We discuss the finish and any follow-up work separately; keeping the space manageable afterwards will still need attention.
Can you work through a narrow side gate?
Tell us the narrowest width, any steps or slopes, and how far it is from the garden to the loading point. Restricted access affects the carrying and loading work, so we may need to see the route before giving you an accurate quote.
Is this a one-off service or regular gardening?
This page is for one-off overgrowth and garden clearances. If your main need is an established hedge kept in shape, ask about hedge trimming. We agree any further work separately rather than including an ongoing gardening visit by default.
